There are common substances that cause intolerance issues such as dairy (lactose), gluten, salicylates and amines. In some cases, you may notice symptoms right after eating the food or you may not feel the symptoms for hours or days later. This can make it difficult to determine the exact food that is causing the reaction or the symptoms can be mistaken for other health issues.
